Introduction

Foscarini Lumiere XXL is the extra large lamp of the Lumiere range which comes with a choice of shades. Black and white are the colors which are available. These shades are of the blown glass type. The tripod comes in two colors as well: gold and white. They are of the lacquered aluminium type. The lamps are designed in 2009 and are lit by three 60 watt halogen bulbs. Though the bulbs are very powerful, it doesn’t hinder those who are in the room due to the diffusion of light by the shade.

New Buds is a range of suspension lamps of the famous Italian manufacturer Foscarini. Within this range there are three suspension lamps. All three have an open “bottom”. Because of this, they create a circle of illumination just below the lamp. As the circle is formed by direct light from the bulb, the reflected light from it could illuminate the room better. All these lamps have diffusers with white inner layers and colored outer layers. They are all made of blown glass and available in two suspension lengths. The three Foscarini New Buds are designed by Rodolfo Dordoni in 2007.
