Flash on Apple devices in the near future is anticipated.

The one thing common between the Apple iPhone and the Apple iPAD, except the fact that they both have an aesthetic appeal, wonderfully working touch screen and the illustrious brand name of Apple is the fact that both of them do not support Flash, which is one of the most prominent rich internet applications from Adobe. The spat between Apple and Adobe has been going on for many years now, and the exclusion of Flash from iPhone and iPad is just another chapter to this ever growing war between the two.

Flash is not only used for viewing videos, or creating multimedia websites, but it also can be used to create various applications and games, which has increased its popularity and reach many-fold, making it one of the de facto installations on the computers of people who surf the internet. The decision that Apple is not planning to provide support has made a lot of iPhone owners whine, more so, since Adobe came up with a Flash version for all major mobile operating systems like Windows Mobile OS, Palm’s webOS and even the Google Android, missing out only on iPhone’s Safari OS. With its 1Ghz processor, 9.7 inch screen and touch capabilities the iPad makes a surprisingly good gaming machine. It removes the obstacles which kept the iPhone from being truly great for games and game developers are already seizing its strengths by creating new games with better graphics and controls. The games are a bit more expensive, however – so you´ll want to make sure you buy only the best.

Apple iPad. What is very new in it?

Apple recently revealed their newest creation, the Apple iPad, which is being touted as the bridge between laptops and smart phones. Apple has been playing it close to the chest, increasing the anticipation and speculation about this new device both on- and off-line. At its unveiling, Apple CEO Steve Jobs declared that, “It’s the best web experience you’ve ever had.” But does the Apple iPad deliver on his promise of greatness?

Large Apple iPhone

The Apple iPad weighs about 1.5 pounds, has a 9.7 inch screen, and is a half an inch thick, looking very much like a large iPhone, a one-piece tablet computer with a large touch screen. It comes with varying amounts of flash memory storage, from 16 to 64 gigabytes, has a 10 hour battery, and will cost as little as $499. The Apple iPad has an on-screen keyboard and similar touch capability as the iPhone, with easy sorting of files or photos with a flick of a finger. The e-book ability and built in bookshelf are impressive, plus web browsing, gaming, and movie watching promise to be a visual treat. The Apple iPad can run all iPhone applications, plus developers are already frothing at the mouth to create Apple iPad specific programs. In an age when technology has focused on being smaller, more compact and more convenient, Apple made the bold move to do the opposite – create a product that is larger and less portable than the average cell phone. Rather than being a hand-held device, the iPad seems to have been designed to fit snugly in the pocket of Paul Bunyan´s pants. Of course, the sizing could be part of a larger, society-enriching effort; creating a massively oversized iPod may be Apple´s attempt to finally lure the mysterious Yeti into the public light. Instead of blurry pictures of the mythical creature, the world could get a detailed look at the beast, possibly via the iPad´s 9.7-inch LED-backlit IPS display. Word has it, the picture is so clear you can see the glimmer of all of the money wasted on the product reflecting in the screen.
